Lisa E Harris is a Houston TX native who relocated to NYC to attend the Mannes College of Music where she received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She continued her studies at the Manhattan School of Music, receiving her Master of Music degree in 2004. Studying in the conservatory by day and steeped in the city' jazz scene by night, in addition to cultivating a love musical theatre as a child and hip-hop and rock throughout life, has helped Lisa develop an eclectic perspective on sounds intertwined. 2005 brought Lisa E. to Lincoln Center as the soprano soloist in Beethoven's Choral Symphony with L"Orchestre du Monde. She has recorded with the Exit, M-One of Dead Prez, Noble Society, and is in project with M'shell N'degeocello for Chris Dave, afrohypnotic. Lisa E can be seen in productions with Encompass New Opera Theatre (NYC) and at the National Arts Club at Gramercy Park.
