Experience the raw energy, stunning energy and vibrant song of Urban Bush Women as they fuse African American spiritual traditions and folklore with contemporary dance to create a powerful theatrical performance. A Bessie Award winning ensemble celebrating it's 20th anniversary season.
The dance troupe will present a “Hair Party,” an arts-based performance project that uses personal hair experiences to generate dialogue on social and political issues.
